Jake Herb wins NSF Fellowship Congratulations Jake!
Michelle Shearer, '95 Named 2011 National Teacher of the Year Michelle completed her senior thesis research in the Bocarsly lab in 1995. Michelle has taught at schools in Maryland including Urbana High School and the Maryland School for the Deaf. Her efforts to spur all students to success in chemistry have been duly recognized. Congratulations Michelle!

The three active projects currently being investigated are:
· Electrochemical and Photoelectrochemical CO2 Reduction;
· Novel electrocatalysts and membrane treatments for the direct ethanol fuel cell;
· Novel cyanogel materials for metal nanoparticle synthesis.
