![]() | Sam Fox KraussSam is a senior concentrating in the Philosophy department. Vegan since 2006, Sam enjoys Woody Allen films, studying in Firestone B-level, and cooking in his sweet Spelman kitchen. In the coming year, Sam will be working on issues surrounding Kosher slaughterhouse practice in addition to planning for demonstrations, vegan dinners, and generally sticking up for animals. Sam is also involved with several other forms of civic engagment on campus. |
![]() | Will FisherWill Fisher is a senior majoring in Computer Science. Will first became interested in animal rights in the spring of his senior year in high school. After some prodding from his freshman year roommate, he became vegetarian and soon after, vegan. Will has been an active and enthusiastic member of PAWS since the beginning. His preferred forms of animal advocacy are leafleting and personal conversations. In addition to animal rights, he is also interested in bicycling, skepticism and card counting. |
![]() | Samantha PergadiaSamantha is a junior, hailing from the cornfields of the Midwest. She became an animal advocate after reading Animal Liberation in high school, where she soon after co-founded a vegetarian club. Samantha spent this past summer frolicking in the grass with rescued slaughterhouse pigs at Farm Sanctuary in New York. She is excited about spending this year stimulating critical self-reflection about Princeton's eating habits and shaking campus up with provocative demonstrations and protests. Samantha hopes to incorporate turkey companionship into her future professional endeavors. |
![]() | Tushar GuptaTushar is a sophomore in the Computer Science department. Hailing from the Himalayan foothills in northern India, he became vegetarian back when he was eleven years old. Tushar has been active with PAWS since he was introduced to the group during his first week at Princeton, and he has really enjoyed all the demonstrations, discussions, movie screenings and study breaks that he has been part of since then. He is excited about PAWS' growing presence on campus, and hopes to engage an increasing number of people in matters of animal rights. |
