Chamber Choir

The Princeton University Chamber Choir is a select group of 16-24 mixed voices that sings a range of challenging music from the Renaissance period through the twenty-first century. This ensemble performs in concert with the Princeton University Glee Club as well as on a separate concert series, and is frequently invited to perform off campus. The choir demands a high level of musicianship and commitment to exacting performance standards. Recent repertoire has included Bach's Jesu meine Freude, Lassus' Magnificat Praeter Rerum Seriem and Poulenc's Quatre Motets pour un Temps de Pénitence.

Chamber Choir auditions take place alongside those for the Glee Club. Freshmen and sophomores must audition for both groups, while upper-classmen may choose to join one or the other. Like the Glee Club, members of the Chamber Choir are eligible for subsidized private voice lessons.
