I’m Sangeet, a postdoctoral researcher at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, DC. I study how humans reason. In particular, I’m interested in how people explain inconsistencies, how they mentally represent knowledge, and how they assign degrees of belief and probabilities to that knowledge. My goal is to develop psychological theories and computational cognitive models that describe higher-level reasoning abilities. I’m currently working on a unified computational model of reasoning called mReasoner.
