NACLO at Princeton
![]() |
The North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad is a contest in which high-school students solve linguistics puzzles, roughly parallel to the USAMO/USAPhO/USNCO/USACO for math, physics, chemistry, and computer science. In solving the problems, students learn about the diversity and consistency of language, while exercising logic skills. No prior knowledge of linguistics or second languages is necessary.
The winners of the second round are eligible to represent North America at the International Linguistics Olympiad.
We are pleased to host a local site of the 2012 NACLO at Princeton University. You will be notified in early March if you have qualified for the Invitational Round. For more information, please contact the Princeton Linguistics Club at lingclub(at)princeton(dot)edu.
The Invitational Round will be held on Tuesday March 13, 2012 from 10:00am to 4:00pm, in Frist Campus Center room 220. Please plan to arrive by 9:45am.
