As Editor-in-Chief of Revisions I find myself tasked, at this juncture, with the work of attempting to draw together the myriad strands which led to Revisions’ new incarnation.
Hello, and welcome to Revisions! As you can probably guess from the title of this post, the site is currently under construction. Don’t feel intimidated, though, make yourself at home. Just be wary that items may shift around, new features may pop up, and old features may disappear as the Revisions staff works on making the site as user-friendly and up-to-date as possible.
In a way, any discussion along these lines cannot simply limit itself to philosophy. We are not speaking of a god who is far off, but one who is intimately near and real. In speaking of the problem of evil, then, we must look not only to God as He reveals Himself to us in Scripture, but also in our lives as a people in covenant with this self-same God.
All that is simply to say that the Trinitarian notion of unity in diversity – the revelation that God is three eternal persons – is abundantly, beautifully, and astonishingly rational.
I wanted those amputations to make things easier for everyone. I wanted to sacrifice those legs to lessen the overall burden of suffering in this world.
