The 4th annual Princeton University Mathematics Competition, PUMaC 2009, is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2009. Registration is currently closed. We are looking forward to the competition!
Preparations for PUMaC 2009 are well underway! The PUMaC team has been busy all summer, involving itself in a wide range of important tasks, including creating tests, reworking logistics, and planning new, never before done things all to make sure that the 550 odd high school students attending PUMaC have a great time here in Princeton University on the 21st of November. At this point even the old wiki site has been phased out, and PUMaC has reappeared in this sleek new website.
PUMaC is a mathematics competition for high school level students organized by the students of Princeton University. It is entirely student run. Although PUMaC is only in its 4th year, it has been growing very fast, beginning with 200 students in its first year and growing to over 750 students this year. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that PUMaC has now gone international, and we hope to welcome international teams in both the Main Competition and the Power Competition.
You can take a look at what the competition consists of at our Rules page. We also have specific information on the Main Competition and the Power Competition. For more information, feel free to look at our FAQ page.
PUMaC would not be at the level it has reached today if it were not for its sponsors. This year, you can find our sponsors on the new Sponsors page. We thank them for their generous support.
PUMaC is run exclusively by Princeton students. You can find more information about PUMaC right here. This year's PUMaC staff is also on the website, listed here. If you wish to contact us, please feel free to do so for more information. You can do that here, or just e-mail us at
