a Molecular Biology major

from Chappaqua, NY

How would you describe yourself in 2 sentences or less?
(What is most important to you in your life? What defines you?)

I'm a fun, easygoing person who loves to hang out with friends, play sports, laugh, and just generally have a good time.

What are your academic interests (more specific than your major)?

Biology and psychology, and neuroscience, which is a good combination of the two. Currently, I'm particularly interested in social neuroscience, which tries to understand social phenomena by studying corresponding brain activity

What do you do on campus (extracurricular interests)?

TapCats, Better Days (SVC community service project), Orange Key, Outdoor Action

What have you learned about Princeton that you would have liked to know as a prospective student?

That the work is hard, but it's really not a competitive place and, for the most part, people (both students and faculty members) are willing to go out of their way to help you when you need it

What do you hope (or plan) to do after graduation and in the rest of your life?

Go to medical school and become a doctor (likely a surgeon, but I'm not sure what kind - it kind of changes with my mood)
