FAQ

I've never danced before, is that okay?

The overwhelming majority of current team members did not dance before joining the team; we'd be happy to see you.

I don't have a partner! What should I do?

People rarely join the team with a partner. Instead, newcomers usually get to know one another, and then pick a partner who wants a similar practice schedule.

Do I need special shoes?

Newcomers can get by with just socks at the lessons and practices, although proper technique is far easier to execute with the proper shoes. If you do decide to compete, ask team members for recommendations on shoes.

How much time does ballroom take?

You put in as much or as little time as you want, although if you practice with a partner, you'll obviously want to figure something out between the two of you.
