Are you willing to take action as an ally to the LGBT community? This is your chance to proactively support Princeton’s queer students and make a unified, campus-wide statement. Come out to cut and then distribute ally triangle signs – one for every dorm room – for a more visibly supportive campus. FREE OLD WORLD PIZZA and BENT SPOON DESSERTS. Bring scissors and your favorite mix CD!
National Coming Out Day Rally

Come and show your pride at the annual National Coming Out Day Rally. Anyone and Everyone that wants to speak will have a chance. If you'd rather not speak, then just come and add to our Chain of identities that we will be making.
Annual Terrace Drag Ball
Where: Terrace
When: Friday October 5th, 10pm-12am
Charge: 3 dollars at the door with PUID (free for members of Terrace)
Come and be fabulous at Terrace's annual Drag Ball. Dress to impress and compete for the titles of King and Queen of the Ball (complete with prizes). If being the center of attention isn't your thing, then come dance the night away and cheer for your favorite king and queen as they compete for the thrown.Sponsored by the Queer Radicals.

On February 13th we had our famous Love=Love postering event, where the Pride Alliance covered the campus with posters in which gay (and straight) couples kissed. Princeton University woke up on Valentine's Day to find the new decor in place:

Celebrating Our Community with Amber Hollibaugh
5 p.m. at Frist Theater, Room 301
Please join us for our LGBT Fall Convocation where will explore this year’s theme—Celebrating Our Community—and share the exciting changes and events for this upcoming year. Amber Hollibaugh, Senior Strategist for NGLTF, will be our featured speaker for the evening. Her work has focused on policy change, aging, economic justice, women’s issues, sexual politics, HIV and AIDS, and queer identities. She has been a force in the movement working to transform the LGBT community to be more inclusive and to provide greater access to all. Reception to follow at the LGBT Center. March 2: Shortbus CONCERT!
11 pm at Terrace Club
Scott Matthew and Jay Brannan, two solo guitarists who wrote and performed music for Shortbus, will be giving a concert at Terrace in conjunction with Queer Articulations. There may also be a guest appearence by Peter Sickles who plays Caleb.
March 7th: ALLY PROJECT
6pm - 8pm in the Frist Multipurpose room
Karen Krahulik '91, Associate Dean of the College at Brown University and former Director of the Center for LGBT Life at Duke University, will be coming to make a presentation about how to be an ally and educate the campus about issues affecting the LGBT community. April 9th - 15th: PRIDE WEEK
A week of celebration including our annual ice cream social called "Gay on the Grass" on April 13th, on the south lawn of the Frist Campus Center. This is during the April Hosting week and prospective students visiting this weekend are encouraged to attend.

Biphobia Discussion

Come join us for a catered dinner and to discuss biphobia, the fear of bisexuals. What is biphobia? Aren't bisexuals just greedy? Why does bisexuality face such negative attitudes from the straight and the gay community?

"But I'm a Cheerleader" and Discussion
Thursday, April 12th, 9pm - Frist 246: LGBT Center Rainbow Lounge
Watch the 1999 film "But I'm a Cheerleader" about Megan, the all American Girl, who gets sent off to "sexual redirection camp" when her parents suspect that she might be a lesbian. Following the film we will discuss the portrayal of reparative therapies and the stereotypes addressed in the film.

Gay on the Grass
Sunday, April 15th, 3-4pm - Dodd Courtyard
Come join us outside for ice cream and the queer community. As always, allies are encouraged to attend. If it is too cold or rainy for comfort outside the event will be moved to the rainbow lounge.
April 18th: The Day of Silence
Allies are encouraged to take a vow of silence for the day to show their solidarity with and draw attention to their LGBT peers and peole around the world who's voices are silenced due to homophobia and fear.
April 19th: Queer Works in Progress
4:30 pm
Students report on LGBT academic work including Junior Papers, Theses, and dissertations; reception to follow.
May 12th: Lavendar Graduation and Queer Formal
Lavendar Graduation is a special ceremony to celebrate the achievements of LGBT students on campus and recognize their contributions to the campus community.
The ceremony will be followed by a formal dinner in Prospect House hosted by the Fund for Reunion/BTGALA, Princeton's gay alumni organization.
