Biphobia Discussion
Wednesday April 11th, 5:30-7 - Mathey Private Dining Room
Come join us for a catered dinner and to discuss biphobia, the fear of bisexuals. What is biphobia? Aren't bisexuals just greedy? Why does bisexuality face such negative attitudes from the straight and the gay community?

"But I'm a Cheerleader" and Discussion
Thursday, April 12th, 9pm - Frist 246: LGBT Center Rainbow Lounge
Watch the 1999 film "But I'm a Cheerleader" about Megan, the all American Girl, who gets sent off to "sexual redirection camp" when her parents suspect that she might be a lesbian. Following the film we will discuss the portrayal of reparative therapies and the stereotypes addressed in the film. Sponsored by the Pride Alliance
Coming Out Queer and Asian

Several LGBT peer educators will speak about the intersection of their identities of being Asian or Asian American and our of the closet. This program is part of APAHM. Lunch will be provided. Come join us outside for ice cream and the queer community. As always, allies are encouraged to attend. If it is too cold or rainy for comfort outside the event will be moved to the rainbow lounge.
