[photo] Scrambling (Fall '94) Unlike traditional marching bands, we get from one formation to the next by scrambling, shown here, actual size.

Scrambling (11/81, 9/98) Well executed, it looks like no one on the field has any idea where they're going next. For extra excitement, watch for the rare tuba-trombone collisions. [photo] [photo]

[photo] Coalescing (11/76) Moments before the end of a joke, the scramblers begin to coalesce, forming a visual punchline to the joke. Oh yeah, we play too. Guess that's why we're called a band. The music is usually a musical punchline that ties it all together.

Close-up (11/77), Drums (11/85) The PUB Action Cam brings you a close-up view. Notice the precision with which each Band member scrambles. A well-performed scramble gives meaning to the phrase "Random Incarnate." As you can imagine, running with a drum presents special challenges. [photo] [photo]

[photo] Run Away! (10/82) At the end of the show, the object is to leave the field before being trampled by the football team.
