Alternative operating systems

For the purpose of this website, alternative operating systems are defined as:
- Unix (e.g. SysV)
- Linux (the many flavors, including our favorite, Gentoo (http://www.gentoo.org/), our second favorite, Debian (http://www.debian.org/), and others)
- BSD
- Mac OS X
- SkyOS
For the purpose of our mailing list, we speak, in the most part, of linux.
