      • Paul Farmer

      • Alicia Keys via Keep a Child Alive organization
    • Invite high schools on campus

    • Coordinate with McCosh to advocate for AIDS testing
      • Problem: a lot of legal issues that go along with that
      • Have all of SGAC get AIDS testing and have a camera following along; great way to get publicity
      • Coordinate with local high schools – one day in which high schoolers come in and learn about AIDS
      • Dance-a-thon
      • Lock-in to do call-ins ,write letters, etc.
    • New York AIDS Walk:

    1. Valentines Day Grams
      1. Going well! 20+ sold on the first day!
      2. Need to get some more stationary – Shannon’s on that
      3. Tabling signups
    2. Survey Results – Tuesday 10:30-11:30 is the best meeting time
    3. Fundraising for kids in Malawi
      1. Children with AIDS are suffocating to death without oxygen tanks – without oxygen, they are more susceptible to a more vicious form of AIDS + they have AIDS pneumonia
      2. Not expected to fundraise by ourselves; oxygen tanks are on the pricy side (500+ dollars), so maybe one or two
    4. AIDS vigil
      1. Float candles in the woody woo fountain
      2. Way to stop draining for a while?
      3. email Patty (pachen@) if you would like to help with organization
    5. NYC AIDS Walk – email Shannon (smercer@)
    6. Lobby Dates & Issues – AIDS issues, emails, primer
    7. Keep an eye out for collaboration with PADI for TB (March 24) and Malaria Day (April 25)
