The Lils recently came back from our Spring Tour 2012 in Cleveland, OH; State College, PA; and King of Prussia, PA. The weather was uncharacteristically pleasant and sunny throughout the entire week, and we had the most enjoyable time driving and singing with the sunroof open and windows down. On our last day of tour, we explored the King of Prussia mall - the largest mall on the east coast - and left with numerous shopping bags (and for some, additional ear piercings!). We then attended the premiere showing of the long awaited movie The Hunger Games.

Over the course of the week, we performed at several lovely retirement homes in Pennsylvania. We also sang at an event for the Princeton Association of Northern Ohio, where we met many orange-clad alumni. This increased our anticipation for Reunions 2012, and we hope to see many Lil alumnae there this summer!

Welcome to the new Tigerlilies website! We figured it was about time for a refresh, and what better time than the start of the new semester.

The Tigerlilies just returned from an unforgettable intercession 2012 tour in Thailand, where we basked in the country's 90-degree weather and amazing culture. We visited Bangkok's breathtaking temples including the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho, went shopping at bustling markets full of beautiful jewelry and scarves, and ate mouthwatering Thai food, from curry and crab to coconuts and cicadas! Our performances took place at the International School of Bangkok, Siam City Hotel's Wisdom charity concert, Chulalongkorn University, and Kasikorn Bank, our gracious host. The Lils then went on an excursion to the nearby island of Phuket, where we performed and tanned poolside at the JW Marriott, swam with elephants on the beach, saw an amazing Thai dancing show, and sang "How High the Moon" on what is now known as James Bond Island. None of this could have happened without Kasikorn Bank's CEO Banthoon Lamsam '75, and we would like to give a huge thanks to him, as well as to our other performance hosts, and Music Director Alex Green's family for showing us around and giving us a taste of Thailand. The Lils had the experience of a lifetime, and can't wait to go back!
